Maria De La Torre is a survivor. Her life has not been paved with streets of gold…but with blood and sacrifice. She may have been there for her soul sister in the Trinity Trilogy but this story is about her life. The life she chooses. The same life someone from her past is trying to take away.
Elijah is the last man in the entire world Maria should be with. He’s a dark, gritty, lawless bounty hunter—the exact opposite of the man she loved and lost, the man who gave up everything for her. Only Elijah is not the type of guy to back down. He’s used to getting what he wants and he’s set his sights on the raven-haired seductress.
Time is not on Maria and Elijah’s side. There’s a new threat to the soul sister, one Maria never thought she’d have to face again. And this time, the stakes are life and death.
Maria quickly learns that the things she wants most in this lifetime may just be the things that have the power to destroy her.

Gut wrenching and heart thumping, prepare for the impact
This book is oh so good. I enjoyed reading the story. It is gut wrenching and heart thumping. It gives you goose bumps as well. The soul sisters not only bound by their friendship, by family but by blood. They are willing to risk each lives to keep their friends safe.
It is gut wrenching. Gosh! Maria is one tough cookie who is unfortunate to be in a guy’s arm who is so evil. I am so glad she never stop fighting. This guy is a survivor which other women are in the bad situation. My heart is aching for her.
Heart thumping because it is suspense as well. It’s like watching a movie. You have to be prepared for the impact.
It is hot. Darn! Elijah is one sweet, funny, such a tease hunk whom you cannot stop to admire. This guy is not only good in bed but in his work too.
I am so looking forward to read the rest of the series especially the previous one. This book is a must read if you not loved only a cop, alpha male but suspense aside from the love story.

Love is sweeter the second time around
This is a beautiful love story between two friends that have the attraction towards each other but it is afraid to ruin the friendship by admitting they are attracted to each other. I experienced this kind of relationship before and until now I still have feelings for a dear friend but it is too late because I am married. It is a shamed but I guess we are not meant to be.
This is such a sweet story that makes you cry, in-loved and pant. Love is sweeter the second time around. I am so glad that Jake and Lily rekindle their romance. This time is a lot hotter, sexier but so emotional. I loved how Lily tried to hide her feelings towards Jake. She is playing hard to get as the game turned around. I loved this two. I really loved reading this book. It is a heart breaking though I did not cry and such a sweet story not to missed and very hot too.
Rachel De Lune writes emotionally driven contemporary and erotic romance.
She began scribbling her stories of dominance and submission in the pages of a notebook several years ago, and still can’t resist putting pen to real paper. What ifs are turned into heartfelt stories of love where there will always be a HEA.
Rachel lives in the South West of England and daydreams about shoes with red soles, lingerie and chocolate. If she’s not writing HEAs, she’s probably reading them. She is a wife and has a beautiful daughter.
At that moment, my feet refused to take me home. They were glued in place. Jake’s sad eyes locked with mine and I couldn’t look away. All I saw was a little boy who wanted to be like his older brother. His idle stare gave me the impression he wasn’t surprised by the greeting. Like he was resigned to it. His eyes didn’t let me go until the car sped off, and I could only make out the red tail lights. I never saw his dad again, but I saw plenty of his brother. Jake stayed close to him around school until he left to go to university.
We’ve been sort-of friends ever since. I never ask him about his family, and he never volunteers any information. It’s as if the evening never happened, yet it’s etched into my mind so deeply I always think about it when I see the harsher side to Jake. Those few moments had tied me to Jake, and although the tenuous threads may have frayed, they always make me go easy on him when I really should give up and never speak to him again.
“Have you got your essay finished?” I change the subject, wanting to get back to surer ground.
“Essay?” he asks, again looking for me to explain.
“You know, the one assigned last week comparing the multi-store model of memory and the working memory model?”
“Looks like I’ve got a piss-poor memory, huh.” He wiggles his eyebrows humorously, and I’m right back to loving him again.
I turn away and bury my head in my hands and try to balance out my own mood towards Jake. The lesson is over with no other wisecracks from Jake, and I head over to the other side of the school for my last lesson of the day.
“Hey, Lil, wait up,” Jake calls after me, and I freeze. He waits for the steady stream of students to thin around us before going any further. It’s my turn to look expectantly at him.
“So, you have a better offer for the weekend than what’s-her-name’s party?”
“No, I just don’t think it’s my thing.” I pull my books into my chest and inch my feet towards my next class. As much as I want to keep talking to Jake, I don’t want to be late. I keep my eyes away from his, not wanting to get trapped in them. It’s a constant hazard I’m susceptible to. I’m sure he can see everything I feel if he will only look a little harder at me. As no other guy in school has ever shown me any attention, I’m under no illusion the first one will be Jake Stewart. My feet start toward the science block. Jake walks beside me a little way. Sometimes, on the occasions when Jake was close to acting like a normal friend, I felt as if he was waiting to tell me something. It never transpired though and like all the other times, he peels away and turns back in the opposite direction. No ‘bye’ or ‘see you later’, but then, that isn’t Jake’s style.
A remote summer camp becomes a lurid crime scene when the bodies of two teenagers are found in a bloody, real-life rendering of a classic Grimm’s fairy tale. Trapped in the wilderness, the remaining counselors must follow a trail of dark children’s fables in order to outwit a psychopath and save the dwindling survivors before falling prey to their own gruesome endings.
Drawing on the grisly, uncensored details of history’s most famous fairy tales, Grimm Woods is a heart-pounding thriller about a deranged killer who uses traditional children’s stories as tropes in elaborate murders. Set against the backdrop of modern-day Michigan, it’s a journey through the mind of a dangerous zealot and a shocking glimpse into the bedtime stories you thought you knew.

This book is disgustingly but scary good
I surprised myself when reading this book. I cannot believed I actually enjoyed reading this book. As much as I loved reading fairy tales story and Cinderella is my all time favorite, Grimm Woods is a twist from regular fairy tales stories. This book is disgustingly but scary good. It is actually hard to put it down. I start reading it at night and finished the following day.
I never been to summer camp or things closed to that. This story is full of adventures. It is a typical teenagers that deals with situations like drugs and sex which is normal when you explore new things in life. I am so glad I did not experienced those kind of situations when I was at their age. I did not see it coming. I was blown away. This book will teach you how to survive and be responsible.
Scott and Brynn are my favorite characters. I loved the setting and I know that my family will enjoy that kind of environment. This book is a must read if you love horror. I am not a fan of horror but I did surprised myself enjoying this story.
D. Melhoff was born in a prairie ghost town that few people have heard of and even fewer have visited. While most of his stories are for adults, he also enjoys terrifying younger audiences from time to time, as seen in his series of twisted picture books for children. He credits King, Poe, Hitchcock, Harris, Stoker, and his second grade school teacher, Mrs. Lake, for turning him to horror. For more information, visit www.dmelhoff.com.
When twenty year old Eliza Cruz heads to London for the execution of her grandmamma’s will, she inadvertently triggers a series of events that take her straight to perdition, inside the devil’s lair itself.
But Sean O’Connor, the tall handsome stranger she meets en route, is always one step ahead, saving her life on a few occasions. A true Knight in shining armour.
But is he? If he really was a Knight, he’d be looking for a Princess.
Clearly, Eliza is not one.
“Shh… Quiet. Don’t let them hear you. Or else they’ll come. I don’t want them to come. This is my room. My space. A doll house that I’ve been living in since they brought me here. No windows though. Just a small dog flap at the bottom, closed with a latch from outside. But still, it’s mine. It’s the only thing I have. Why? Trust me, knowledge is not power, no matter what everyone say.”
I’ve never heard of Marquis de Sade before. But having been forced to read about him in the small confined space I was imprisoned in, on my knees, with my bottom out of that wretched hole, I now know who Milli was. Her sexual gratification depended on suffering physical pain and humiliation imposed by others. And they are priming me for the same.
For the big cull, as they say.
“Your fear of flying is unreasonable.”
My heartbeat is drumming like crazy and all I want is some peace in my head. Everything is fusing together, it’s deafening.
“What are you going to do about it?” I yell.
The engines make a loud whirling sound, and the plane start driving forward, accelerating faster and faster. The moment the noise is ear-splitting and the plane ascends, Sean grabs my wrists in one hand and holds me tight as suddenly I find myself fighting against him. What the f…? There is no struggle on his part, he’s stronger than me by far. With the other hand he grabs my chin and forcefully pulls me to him, leaving a kiss on my lips so potent, and brutal, it sucks the air out of my lungs completely. And when he parts my lips and inserts his tongue inside my mouth, deep, I think he consumes everything that I am. Everything that I stand for. Every molecule in my body that fought against having any connection with men, melts away.
Just as the noise subdues the kiss dies too, he pulls back, but is still within the proximity of my heartbeat. His eyes are glued on my lips, now glossy from our kiss. “Just as I thought, perfect,” and slowly, they rise up to my eyes. Quickly, he blinks, clearing his throat, and he pulls back. “Kissing relieves tension, reduces negative energy and produces a sense of well being,” I feel the rush of air coming out of his lips as he is talking.
Peaches and cream.
The snapping of his seat belt is my wake up call. He stands up and moves back where he was sitting. “In other words, you’re welcome.”
